Paper Gem Garland Tutorial

Learn how to make a faceted gem garland out of paper! Stick with white paper for a quiet, minimalist look, or use colored or patterned paper for a more festive vibe. Or paint or decorate the gems when you’re done!

Here’s what you’ll need: craft knife, ruler, cutting mat (or a clean cutting board), cardstock or construction paper (8.5”x11”), twine or yarn, glue, computer, printer, and my downloadable PDF template.

Note: This papercraft tutorial is a little tricky — it’s best for folks with a steady hand and lots of patience. You’ll need to use a craft knife, so I think this project is best for adults. (If you’re looking for a simpler or more kid-friendly project, check out my paper star tutorial instead!)
