Solo Exhibition at Heron Arts

I’ve been in hibernation for months, creating a large new body of work for this show. I’m so excited to finally invite you to come see it in person! This collection explores incremental change over time, in both paper sculptures and stop-motion animation films. If you’re in the Bay Area next weekend, I’d love to see you at the opening reception!

Feature in Colossal

Colossal recently did a gorgeous feature on my paper sculptures and corresponding stop-motion animation films. This article also serves as a sneak peek at some of the new works that will be shown in my upcoming solo exhibition — including a fun zoetrope animation.

Recent Artist Residencies

This past winter, I did two artist residencies: one at Penland School of Craft in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, and one at the Jennings Hotel in Joseph, Oregon. Both were deeply restful and wildly productive. Many of the pieces in my upcoming show were either created or designed at these residencies.
