Dodecahedron Floor Lamp

This geometric floor lamp was TIG welded by hand out of mild steel, sanded to a satin finish, and treated with a black patina. It was finished with both a clear sealant and a black metal wax to protect the lamp from rust. A black cloth-covered electrical cord suspends an Edison bulb inside the dodecahedron orb. The eight-foot cord has a foot switch two feet from the lamp base.
