This three-part series explores a symbol that we typically only encounter in our digital lives: the loading icon. This mundane, digital artifact has been reimagined as a physical sculpture, handmade out of paper. Spinning in perpetuity, the loading icon asks the viewer to sit with their impatience, to accept that there will be no resolution or hit of dopamine to follow.

The three stop-motion videos in this series were minted on Versum as part of the Tezos #1of1 event in July 2022. The three corresponding physical paper sculptures will be exhibited at Heron Arts in San Francisco July 9 - Aug 7, 2022.

10% of first sales will be donated to The Anti Police-Terror Project, a Black-led coalition in Northern California that seeks to build a replicable and sustainable model to eradicate police terror in communities of color.
